Pesto Mozzarella French Bean Salad

Fancy up your dinner with this Pesto Mozzarella French Bean Salad! Made with our fresh French Beans for a crunchy texture and paired with a classic pesto sauce.





What you need


2, 8oz. bags Pero Family Farms French Beans

1 cup Fresh Mozzarella Pearls

For the Pesto, makes 1 cup

2 Cups Fresh Basil Leaves

2 Cloves Garlic

1/3 Cup Pine Nuts

1/2 Cup fresh Parmesan Cheese, grated

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

1/2 Cup Olive Oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Let’s Get Started


  • Cook French Beans using microwave directions on the back of the bag. Once cooked, carefully remove the French beans from the bag and allow them to cool in a bowl.
  • To prepare the pesto, add the fresh basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to the bowl of your food processor. Pulse 5 times until a coarse mixture forms.
  • Turn the food processor on low and slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream.
  • Add mozzarella to the bowl with the French beans. Pour the pesto over the beans and mozzarella. 
  • Serve and enjoy!
