Grilled Romaine and Mini Sweet Salad

Summer is right around the corner, and this Grilled Romaine and Mini Sweet Salad is sure to shake things up at your next get-together! By charring our Pero Mini Sweet Peppers and the hearts of romaine on the grill, it adds a delicious and unique flavor profile to your everyday summer salads. What you need


2 hearts of romaine lettuce, halved

16 Pero Family Farms Mini Sweet Peppers, grilled

¾ cup feta cheese

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

1 ½ tbsp. olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Let’s Get Started


  •  Preheat grill to medium-high temperature.
  • Grill the Mini Sweet Peppers until cooked to your desired texture.
  • While the Mini Sweet Peppers are cooking, lightly brush the romaine hearts with the olive oil and place on the grill. Cook for 1 minute on each side.
  • Remove the lettuce and peppers from the grill.
  • Top the lettuce with Mini Sweet Peppers and Feta cheese.
  • Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice and salt and pepper over top and serve.
