6oz. Pero Family Farms English Peas

½ cup Pero Family Farms Mini Sweet Peppers, sliced

1 cup your favorite pasta, cooked al dente

1 tbsp. olive oil

PESTO INGREDIENTS

½ cup fresh basil leaves

¼ cup fresh Italian parsley

¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated

1 tbsp. garlic

1 tbsp. pine nuts (optional)

1 tbsp. olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Place all Pesto ingredients into a food processor and pulse until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a large sauté pan heat the olive oil to medium-high temperature. Add the English Peas and Mini Sweet Peppers to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Next, add the cooked pasta to the pan, and 2 tbsp. of Pesto. Cook for 3 minutes or until the peas are cooked to your desired texture, stirring constantly.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
